Maryam’s Massage Career

I currently excel in deep tissue and progressive therapeutic massage, which means continuously building on progress made in a previous session until a client has relief or has come to a place of satisfaction with their point of case. My work is incredibly pinpoint focused in a session. I love dedicating time and attention to a physical issue, intuiting its need for movement or release, and pouring the necessary amount of energy into an area of the body in need of attention. I am attentive to those in need of a restful, full body session and who also wish to be in the care and presence of a positive and high vibrational therapist.

I love working with athletes and martial artists who are in need of maintenance due to regular wear and tear. Jiu Jitsu-ers, wrestlers, runners, body builders, UFC trainers, Chi Gong warriors and the like.

I have been licensed to practice massage in the State of Texas since 2018.

  • “Maryam's deep tissue massages are the best I’ve found in Austin. She's thoughtful, focused, and consistent in her approach. You can tell she cares, and there’s no question that she’s skilled. On top of that, her warm presence fills the room. Highly recommend. “

  • “I just received an excellent session from Maryam! She gave a very good deep tissue, structural realignment and focused trigger-point release kind of treatment. She paid close attention to detail. If been a bodyworker/massage therapist for 15 years, have had many massages and Maryam is in the top for sure!”

  • “I am still floating from my awesome experience with Maryam I don't enjoy hard massages and have found most past experiences painful and unenjoyable. However, I now feel enlightened and optimistic that I have found someone who can deliver a powerful massage I would 10/10 recommend and plan to go again asap!”

  • “Maryam was amazing! I've had a lot of massages. This massage specifically tailored to my needs. She looked at my body alignment and gave me exactly what I needed. My favorite part was when I was on my side and she was working on the side of my torso into my hip. I've never had that before and it felt amazing. If you want to try someone different please try Maryam!”

  • “Working with Maryam is simply a joy. She offered gentle massage that allowed for quiet exploration of tension, and also a sense of agency for me. I felt like I was very deeply understood. I felt such peace and comfort that I later brought a friend who was working through a physical trauma. This was handled sensitively and kindly and with deep compassion and insight. Much gratitude for the immeasurable wisdom, skill and compassion you offer this community.”

  • “I strained something in my shoulder/neck last weekend and it continuously got worse each day. I scheduled a massage with Maryam to focus on the area that was painful and she was amazing! She is smart, knowledgeable, kind and intuitive. I've never had a massage with anyone who knew so much about what they were doing. She used breathing techniques that were really helpful in targeting the pain, very cool! I made two more appointments with her and will be making it a regular part of my self care routine.”
